Hi Tarek,

Two years ago Hi Tarek, you said you'd seriously consider making STV available for OSX as well. What are the current plans for that? Is osx compatibility  something we may expect in STV 4.0?

I am seriously considering purchasing a license on STV, and would aslo be interested in getting a clue as to what new features to expect in v4.0. Would you please give some clues to us?

Hi Tribee,

We've actually done some research on OSX and found that STV might not be nearly as useful there. Since the UI on iOS is much more streamlined (e.g. table views, standard control cells, details views being pushed on a navigation stack, etc.), STV is able to do a much better job of coming up with the whole application UI in iOS than in its OSX counter part. This does not mean that we won't give it another shot in the future, as OSX itself is evolving into having many similarities to iOS.

STV 4.0's main focus will be on extensive Xcode integration, which we've done so much research and work in now and we're able to create and test things that people thought were impossible to do on Xcode :-)
